Instead of going to our local PIZZERIA, we decided to make our own pizza. Will we succeeded or will it be another disaster? Well, let’s just say we ate every last bite of it.
Have you ever tried to make your own PIZZA? Well, here’s the recipe for it!
Adapted from Fleischmann’s Active Dry Yeast packet.
Makes 1 whole pizza.
- 1 pack of Active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water (100-110 F)
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Soften yeast in warm water, in a mixing bowl. Add 2 cups flour, salt and oil. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth, about 4-6 minutes.
Place in greased bowl; cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 to 45 minutes. Punch dough down. Pat dough into a greased large pizza pan. Top with desired toppings. Bake at 400F for 20 to 30 minutes or until done.
P.S. Don’t leave the kitchen and keep your eye on the pizza!
Enjoy!
Have a nice Sunday!
